WHAT TO EXPECT, AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT

Life is always something of a "work in progress". So too is this site. Common sense tells us that no one is ever truly "infallible", whatever may be the claims to that very lofty status. A wise man once remarked: "History is the record of the survivors". But that is only a partial truth. Those who may be seen as not having "survived" themselves may well have provided more genuine history than those who record their passing from the scene. For instance, the ashes of Girodano Bruno, and the bones of Galeleo Galelei bear much more witness to truth and reality than all the Papal Bulls (or Bullshit) of the past two Millenia.
If all you want to find is something which will provide a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling of contentment, this is not the place to seek it; nor should you be able to find it here. On the other hand, if you are looking for that which might serve to shatter the dull aspects of complacency - or even provide the beginnings of a thoughtful counter position or point of view - take a look around; and then use that brain of yours to go however much further you are capable of going towards your own understanding and appreciation of life as you are living it.
And finally, all that bombast and pomposity over and done with, don't forget that a little chuckle - or even a brief smile - is sometimes better than a scholarly treatise, when it comes to evoking self-reflection and balance. Even a jaundiced eye may hold a little twinkle of humor now and then. All in all, then, it's just another website, in the vast and largely uncharted span of cyberspace.
So, don't just react: THINK ABOUT IT!
